The past couple of days in Southeastern New England have been a bit of a heat wave. And being from Massachusetts, we all know that heatwaves usually break with thunderstorms!
A common sight on any New England beach is the beach tomato plant. This is actually an invasive species of Rose (Rosa_rugosa) that originates from Asia, but now occupies just about every beach along the coast of the north eastern United States!
