Developing and maintaining brand guidelines, web interface design, ui design, and front-end development for clients and internal products. With a primary focus on BruteProtect, I designed and coded a large portion of the front-end of our dashboard application (my.bruteprotect.com) and plugin ui. Also designed and developed the new BruteProtect.com.

Parka, llc / BruteProtect were acquired by Automattic in August 2014.

Manages design & development of enterprise level clients, while simultaneously researching and creating new methods to utilize the latest web technologies and integrate them into our design and development processes. Works with web team creating and maintaining a custom WordPress theme framework, boilerplate, plugins, and multitude of extremely custom WordPress child themes for our 450+ active clients. Created some of the most popular themes for our clients, along with custom icon fonts. Also interacts with client support teams & product software teams in order to create better experiences for our clients, and our clients’ customer base.

Senior Designer specializing in print design, package design, and web interface design. Occasionally works on Front-end Development (HTML & CSS) and some CMS systems such as WordPress.

Spearheaded the effort to rebrand Slocum Design Studio in late 2009. Rebrand included new identity, website, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, and an entire suite of marketing materials.

I founded this small design studio in 2004. Midnight Shift Studio (now defunct) specialized in many aspects of marketing including web design & development, print design, identity design, package design, and photography. Over the course of ten years I worked with over 100 clients in New England and throughout the country. Depending on the type of client needs and project size I would often assemble small agile teams of contractors to help complete certain tasks such as PR and heavy back-end development.
