In early December 2015, a few friends and myself ascended mt. chocorua on a relatively mild day (at the base of the mountain anyway). As we hiked up a trail from the kancamagus highway, the temperature quickly dropped as expected!

We spent a bit of time in the late afternoon at the summit, the temperature hovered around 0 degrees fairenheit (about -20 degrees with the wind chill). Clouds quickly moved across the skyline and brought in intermittent bands of light fluffy snow. I captured this panoramic without a tripod and quickly lost feeling of my fingers in doing so – but I had a blast either way. The shot below was captured a couple of hours prior.
