Lately I’ve been really digging deep into astrophotography. Limitless possibilities to experiment and capture amazing imagery. Caught this exposure the other night during the Perseid meteor shower on Gooseberry Island in Westport, Massachusetts. Can you see the milky way galaxy in the background? Sometimes it’s easy to forget the earth rotates. This is a 10 minute exposure – meaning I set my camera to take the photo for 10 minutes straight – which led to the stars trailing like this.
Only alterations are brightness/contrast and white balance.
